I am a 20 year old college student, and I will be starting my fourth year in the fall.  Quite recently I switched from an elementary education major to a social work major and I plan on becoming a child social worker that works with abused and neglected children.

People often know me as the "librarian" or according to my fans, "my favorite librarian."  I started working at the college library my freshman year as a workstudy student and have since then been promoted to Evening and Weekend Supervisor.   I feel most at home surrounded by tons of books and any of my friends will tell you that I spend more time in the library than I do at home!

I live with my parents and my two younger sisters in what is known as "the smurf blue house."  Or at least, that's what we say when giving people directions.  Starting in August, however, I am going to move into an apartment with two of my friends who go to the same college that I do.

 I have been writing creatively since I was nine years old and would like to publish a few novels in the near future.  I am currently writing a science fiction novel that I hope will be the first installment of  a trilogy.  I get ideas for new stories so quickly that I get ahead of myself and start developing them instead of focusing on one piece of work at a time.  I am also co-writing for an independent science fiction film series,The Selected.

I enjoy writing poetry, playing word and card games, and drawing.  I like working with children in almost all settings and I like to tutor people of all ages...unless it's in math or science.  Although I'm not much of a sports person, I enjoy swimming, taking walks and swinging on swings (I'm still a child at heart!).
